Meet Dr. Paul Falvey

Dr. Falvey grew up in Fresno California. It was there he graduated with honors from Cal State Fresno. He studied Zoology, Chemistry, Spanish and Photography. After Fresno State Dr. Falvey was accepted to the prestigious dental program at University Of California San Francisco. This program ranks #2 in the country second only to Harvard’s dental program. In 1984, Dr. Falvey graduated with honors again, obtaining both a Doctor of Dental Surgery and a Masters in Biomaterials degree.
After completing the dental program and UCSF, Dr. Falvey joined the Union Square dental practice of Dr. Walter Wotman. He practiced there for 15 years. During this time, Dr. Falvey was a sitting member of the San Francisco Dental Society Peer review board.
In 1995, Dr. Falvey also completed the three-year Mastery Course at the Center for Professional Development in Scottsdale, Arizona. Then in 1996, Dr. Falvey completed a two-year post-graduate study in Advanced Gnathological Occlusion Principles and Techniques at The Foundation for Advanced Continuing Education.
Furthering his passion in implant dentistry, in 2007 Dr. Falvey completed the first San Francisco Implant Dentistry Continuum, completing over 160 hours of training and receiving a fellowship in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI). Then in 2010, Dr. Falvey completed the 300-hour LLU/AAID Implant MaxiCourse at Loma Linda University’s School of Dentistry.
In 2013, Dr. Falvey was recognized as an associate fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. He is one of the leading experts in implant care. To qualify for the award, Dr. Falvey completed a minimum of 300 hours of post-doctoral instructions in implant dentistry, performed implant cases, and passed the academy’s Associate Fellow examination which consisted of a written exam, a series of oral exams, and defense of three implant cases. Dr. Falvey is a board certified oral sedation dentist and a graduate of the dental organization for Conscious sedation (DOCS). He has also been teaching at the Growth Into Greatness Institute for 15 years.
He has three grown sons and a daughter and enjoys competitive road and mountain biking. Additionally, Dr. Falvey is an award-winning photographer.
